Industrial, dark red brick, and in a basement, The Laundry embodies everything that is great about just what can be done with a postindustrial space. Located in the heart of London Fields the venue combines a variety of architectural features that give a unique aesthetic like you won’t find anywhere in the city. Nodding to the buildings heritage; the combination of cement beams, exposed brickwork and polished metal help to create an inviting environment to dance the night away in.
Hot Since 82 has continually pushed the boundaries, whether in the studio, behind the decks or more recently with his club concept TAKEN. With tickets once again flying out, this is the perfect opportunity to see Hot Since 82 take things up a gear as part of his Knee Deep In Sound Tour. The dynamic layout, ambient feel and rough edges will suit the genre bending sounds of Hot Since 82.
Part owned by Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien, the development also includes a restaurant and bar area, which is just a walking distance from London Fields station. Formerly a Laundry in the 50s, the space has been transformed and has been described as an important extension of the work of this famous musician.
