Adam Beyer reflects on Drumcode Halloween, the journey from Ewer Street Car Park and how his partnership with LWE blossomed into Junction 2 Festival. Speaking about what it was like to play under the bridge, and his aims for Junction 2 next year.
“When you click with a promoter it’s fantastic and you have similar beliefs, taste in music, similar taste in production, just everything… I think it’s a natural progression to start doing more and more things together and evolve together so Junction 2 felt like the next step for us to take.
They found this amazing venue and they asked me if I wanted to be involved on a deeper level, not to just come and play for the party, but also be a director of the festival. It just felt like it was the perfect time to do something like that.
I trust London, I’d actually like to live here even, so for me it’s a bit of a dream coming true, and something I’m very proud and happy about.”
