Polish duo Catz ‘N Dogz have really found the winning formula when it comes to making Bonafide hits. Initally gathering momentum in the nest of Claude Von Stroke’s Dirtybird imprint, the duo have consistently put out the best party music on that label as well as creating their own label Pets Recordings. To connoisseurs of electronic music San Fransisco’s Dirtybird is widely recognised for it’s distinctive sound, style, brand and parties, and with Pets Recordings, Catz ‘N Dogz have been able to build their own qwerky legacy with innovative artists creating genre defying tracks.
Pets Recordings has been picking out from the same pool of artists that are championing a polished and credible brand of base driven house music. With original EPs coming from Justin Jay, Green Velvet, Eats Everything, Adam Port, HNNY, Kink and Claude Von Stroke making up a weighty mash of artists and a very tasty selection of dancefloor bangers indeed. The remix crew looks even more impressive with Anja Schneider, Jamie Jones & Matthew Herbert all serving up some pure fire on the latest remix package.
There sound is particularly fun, as heard in this Harlemesque edit below. Surely the perfect track for knocking off some dust from the arches of Great Suffolk Street. This one would raise any roof.
