Eton Messy’s – Top 5 to Watch for in 2014

Part of the ever growing ship of Eton Messy, track selector and online tastemaker Charlie Wedd, gives us five artists  (in no particular order) that he thinks we should be keeping our eye on in 2013. Having embarked on their first UK tour last Autumn, the guys will be hitting up some more spots this spring; showcasing a diverse range of sounds that reflect their online channel.  Having built up a formidable reputation behind the decks, they are high in demand and will play in the main room at our NYE event after a double up at The Warehouse Project.

Having Remixed Bondax’s ‘Giving it all’ and releasing the superb EP ‘It’s time for change’ The future is looking bright for French Kiwi Juice. His individual sound makes him instantly recognisable.

We just recently uploaded his remix of Naughty Boy – ‘Think about it’ which has gone down an absolute treat and rightly so! We are really excited to see what happens for Taches in 2014.

Tommy Vercetti:

Lending his name from GTA Vice City his latest song “Good Feelings” has become an overnight club banger. He is our brand new tip and someone we think everyone should keep a close eye on.

We thought we would feature a vocalist in the list too. Bristol Based Javeon seems to be creating a lot of moves at the moment and with talks of an album in the works, 2014 will definitely be an exciting year and we recommend catching him on the New Years Eve night!

With Adam being one half of Blonde (other half of EM) with Jake (Thieves), we thought it would be rude not to include these two. Relatively new on the scene, Blonde have big plans for 2014 and already have a huge back catalogue of tunes ready to get the new year off with a bang. The boys just released a bootleg of Corona – ‘Rhythm of the Night’ which has become an instant crowd pleaser in sets.
