Introducing Koreless

Breaking onto the scene with tracks like 4D and MTI, it was Koreless’s original and distinguished sound at a time of stagnation that made him stand out from the rest. Refusing to follow the trends and working in a bubble away from the bubbling Garage/ House hybrid has allowed him to craft something much more wholesome and meaningful. With fans eagerly awaiting his album on Young Turks, this summer we were finally treated to 2 singles released on the label. This was very much welcomed after an 18 month hiatus since his last release.

It’s clear that Koreless has carved out a niche, alongside similar artist and friend Jaques Greene; with the former aiming to operate on the borders of your attention span. Having relocated to Glasgow in 2008 to go to Uni, the books were soon left on the shelf as he began to mix within the local scene, alongside the Numbers crew. The city and it’s party core provided all the inspiration the then young producer needed to flourish creatively. Now residing in London here’s a listen to some more of his works from a slightly older time.
