Melé is a producer who has come along way as both a producer and DJ since he released his debut EP on Sounds of Sumo in 2009. His impeccable style of mixing and varied track selection have made him a favourite on dancefloors across the UK and beyond; and his skills on the buttons have seen him collaborate with no other than Kano. The Liverpudlian’s got a lot more to give before 2016 is out, with a whole host of new material on the way, plus playing across the summer festival circuit.
Speaking to us back in 2013 he said his influences are from “Just guys who keep it really original. Something that sounds really weird but works good in a club is perfect for me.”
On the decks Melé is one of the most technically gifted out there, and really makes the full use of his Serato setup. Mixing a number of tracks simultaneously he can go from grime to techno in a hot minute and he’s one of the best at chopping and changing styles. He’ll bring an eclectic array of tracks to The AMP All Day Raves: London, check out his Boiler Room below.
Listen to his tropical sounding rhythm that leaves us dreaming of Notting Hill Carnival
