RAM Records Showcase Announced for Arcadia10

After weeks of speculation, we can now disclose the artists that have been hand-picked by RAM to represent their first label showcase of 2018 at Arcadia10.

The showcase drills into the RAM’s contemporary sound with the next wave of artists like Delta Heavy, DC Breaks, Loadstar, Calyx and Teebee, Mind Vortex, Culture Shock, Rene LaVice, Chords and Bensley all on the rampage.

Joining them are some of RAM’s favourite artists and brothers-in-arms. Ed Rush and Optical mark 20 years of Virus by stepping up to the controls, while Ed Rush’s new project – Killbox – is unleashed on an entirely new scale and old school rudeboys Bad Company UK rip-up the dancefloor in breakneck style. Hosting the day will be a selection of the world’s finest MCs including 2Shy, LX One, Daxta, Messy and Rhyme Tyme.

Taking place at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park as part of the inaugural Arcadia festival, RAM will be taking the controls of Arcadia’s brand new 360° indoor zone for the inaugural event.

The 5000 capacity arena will hit critical velocity by lunchtime as total immersion engulfs the crowd. New technological advances and uncharted sonic frontiers will flash through the Arcadia particle accelerator as new ideas, experiments and sensory sparks collide. The high-octane indoor space promises to be a no-holds-barred affair. We can’t say much more at the moment, but promise this’ll go down as the most intense daytime dancefloor London has ever seen!

This accompanies last week’s announcement, when we revealed the list of seismic bass artists who’ll take to the 50 tonne mechanical spider during Day 2, including DNB chart-toppers Rudimental, the volatile Dutch trio Noisia, the turbo-charged TQD, urban funkster Preditah and Bassboy and the mesmerising Dre Skull and Jubilee.

And let’s not forget that the world-renowned Metamorphosis show makes its London debut. Fusing spine-tingling theatre, elements of circus and a fully-immersive futuristic dreamscape, Metamorphosis will be the festival’s highlight on both Sunday 6th May and the previous day, Saturday – which will feature house & techno acts.
