Ryan Elliott, the venerable DJ from Detroit takes on the stage of the Little Gallery SIDEXSIDE Leon Vynehall and Josey Rebelle at Tobacco Dock on Sunday 16th April 2017.
Ryan Elliott has performed in a number of cool venues and festivals across the world, such as Dimensions Festival, Fabric, Oval Space, DC10 Ibiza and is going on to play at Hide Out Festival, Gottwood Festival, Berghain and many more. This opportunity has led Elliott to collaborate with reputable artists in the industry such as long time old friend Matthew Dear, Jackmaster, Bicep and Marcel Dettmann.
Discovering his sound and style in the techno scene, Ryan Elliott signed to Matthew Dear’s record label Spectral Sound, and secured a respectable long-standing status in the electronic music industry.
Elliott relocated to Berlin in 2009, where he continued to spread his unfathomable techno driven sound across the world. “Berlin and Detroit may not look the same, but they feel the same.. The connection isn’t just in music, but also in cities’ rough round the edges and honest hearts.” A unique personable essence of Detroit continues to remain embodied in his music production.
Eliott’s EP’s over the years embrace a strong connection relevant each other. The heavy bass-line links to the delicate beats passed on from track to track. Rock Steady (2011) harbours a motivational party drive, whilst Stepmode (2013) follows the invigorating sensation, which easily pleases his crowd.
A regular performer on the techno scene, Ryan Elliott will inevitably reach above all boundaries, with the collaboration of likeminded peers Leon Vynehall and Josey Rebelle, guests at Tobacco Dock are in for a treat.
