Waze & Odyssey Preview

Waze & Odyssey have continually strived to push things forward, whether they’re in the studio themselves, or carefully tailoring every detail of each of their labels releases. Looking at the past to gain fresh inspirations for the future they’ve selected the best of a new breed of British house music producers to release on their label Streettracks.

Representing a typically UK sounding bass driven brand of house music, the label has harnessed the talents of Citizen, Ejeca & Squarehead who are all rapidly climbing the ranks in their own right. The reason why these releases stand out is an obsession for detail and high expectations of quality. Refusing to follow the trends, whilst acknowledging them has allowed them to stick out from the rest of the pack.

As producers, the duo have releases on Wolf Music, Disco bloodbath, Pet Food, Tsuba, Body Work, New York’s Lets Play House and Berlin’s Dirt Crew. Their ability to capture the fruitfulness of summer, and hedonistic dancefloor attitude mean that their tracks are perfectly suited for summer terrace or roof parties. Just as effective in grimey warehouses as plush poolsides the duo transfer unbelievable energy to the crowd.
