At Home With LWE: 13th November - Relentless Takeover

Fri 13th Nov

The Relentless team are back with some brand new selections for us to digest. Featured in today’s takeover are Hot Since 82 & Rudimental, Sonny Fodera & Ella Eyre, Alaia & Gallo, Nasty Brian as well as news about a brand new show on Kiss FM.

Hot Since 82 & Rudimental - Be Strong

Relentless Energy favourite, HotSince 82, has collaborated once again with UK dance heavy hitters, Rudimental for their new track “Be Strong”. The track is a heady combination of tech house, sultry vocals and elements of acid house.

The Leeds-based DJ has worked with Rudimental before, remixing their track “Right Here” back in 2013.

Sonny Fodera & Ella Eyre - Wired

Record label head honcho, Sonny Fodera, has joined forces with RnB songstress Ella Eyre for new track “Wired”. With an infectious piano hook and super 90’s rave vibe, this is bound to get you moving.

If you’re feeling the vibes, here’s a flashback to Sonny’s performance at our Boardmasters stage way back in 2017

Alaia & Gallo - Free 2 Be Me

Italian duo Alaia & Gallo have made their debut on British label, DVINE Sounds with their track “Free 2 Be Me”. With a deep bassline and bold hi-hats accompanying Michelle Weeks fiery lyrics and mighty voice, this release shows the pair's fresh, club-ready sound at its finest.

Kiss Nights

Kiss FM have launched their new line up of late night presenters and there are a few familiar faces involved. Queen of Defected Records and long-time friend of Relentless, Sam Divine will be taking over Fridays from 9-11. While Rudekid will be offering up the best of UK rap, drill and grime from 10pm on Sundays.

The new line up also features NYC based DJ, A-Trak, Ellie Prohan (also part of the Beats 1 and Foundation.FM gang) and Tash LC.

Nasty Brian - heart emoji ft. AMA

South London artist Nasty Brian has finally dropped his track “heart emoji” featuring AMA. The track was recorded in May of last year and has popped up various live performances, but Nasty Brian has finally blessed us with the studio version. “heart emoji” comes accompanied by a lo-fi video with a distinctive 00s feel.
