At Home With: Relentless

Fri 5th Mar

The Relentless team are back with some brand new picks to soundtrack your day. Featuring Technimatic & A Little Sound, Giggs, Max Savage, Cadet, Xahli and Kelvin Okafor.

Technimatic - Lakota (ft. A Little Sound)

Flying high on our radar at the moment is DnB vocalist, A Little Sound. A singer-songwriter hailing from Bristol, she has been making waves in the drum and bass and jungle world of late. Check out her crystal clean vocals over this relentless Technimatic beat, “Lakota”.

Max Savage - Diablo Mix

Another up and comer we’ve been keeping an eye on recently is Max Savage. Son of south London’s garage and dubstep legend, Hatcha, Max is basically destined for dance music greatness. He’s already set pace at Outlook festival and his Diablo mix has racked up over 10k plays on Soundcloud. Definitely one to keep an eye on.

Cadet - Behind Barz

In memory of Cadet, we’re revisiting one of his most powerful tracks. The south London rapper would have turned 31 this week. In this freestyle from 2015, Cadet discusses his Muslim faith and a tenuous relationship with his father.

XAHLI - Anxiety

Xahli (pronouced ‘Zah-li’) is another artist we can’t stop listening to at the moment. The British songstress is helping us through this strange period with her latest release “Anxiety”, perfecting encapsulating how we all feel right now. If you’re a fan of Jess Glynne, Etta Bond or Duo Lipa definitely check her out.

Kelvin Okafor

Hyper-realistic artist, Kelvin Okafor, has blown us all away with his latest portrait of Skepta. A multi award winning artist, Okafor is known for his portraits of Winnie Harlow, Prince and many more iconic figures drawn exclusively with pencil. According to Skep, the portrait took over 500 hours to complete. Madness!

Giggs - Daily Duppy

Our final selection this week is probably our favourite. Giggs has stepped into the iconic yellow and black booth to deliver his Daily Duppy. Peckham’s finest casually reels through his pop culture loves including his beloved Marvel films. Check out the full thing above.
