Community

At The Bridge, we’re passionate about giving back to our community.

From supporting sustainable projects such as Hounslow Council’s Environmental impact Levy to creating industry shadowing opportunities for 18–25-year-olds, we’re committed to making a meaningful difference in the area we call home.

1% for the Park and the Community

1% for the Park and the Community

In 2025, we launched our 1% for the Park and Community program. An initiative where artists performing at The Bridge donate 1% of their fee to help create a lasting legacy and support local community values.

We invited the local community to share their ideas and vote between two fantastic local businesses to decide who would receive the 2025 donation.

This year, we’re proud to announce that The Arts Centre, Hounslow was chosen as the recipient.

The Arts Centre, Hounslow has spent the last decade transforming into a thriving cultural hub at the heart of the community. Through diverse artistic programming, accessible theatre, and community-led initiatives, they provide a space for creativity, wellbeing, and professional development. The Pay What You Decide performances, grassroots creative schemes, and the award-nominated annual pantomime have made the arts more accessible to all. Since 2023, the  Hounslow Wellbeing Network has expanded to offer free activities tackling social isolation. As a female-led organisation, they are committed to fostering emerging talent, supporting wellbeing, and ensuring the arts remain a vital part of Hounslow’s future.

If you would like your organisation considered for 2026, please get in touch.

Guest List Charge

Guest List Charge

Each year, we ask our invited event guests to contribute a small entry charge, which goes directly towards making a difference. The funds are shared between two charities, one supporting our local community and another that reflects our wider values and ethics.

For 2025, we’re proud to support The Arts Centre, Hounslow and In Place of War.

Environmental Impact Levy

Environmental Impact Levy

Each year, we contribute an Environmental Impact Levy, managed by Hounslow Council, to help enhance and regenerate the local environment where our events take place. This is 10% of the land hire fee payable to the council.

Since 2023, we have contributed to the ecological restoration of Boston Manor Park through our 10% site hire fee initiative and have invested nearly £60,000 into wider sustainability practices as well as donating nearly £13,500 to local charities. This funding has helped create a new forest school, restore meadow habitats, and plant over 7,000 native woodland bulbs across the park.

In 2024, we took our sustainability efforts further by appointing a dedicated Sustainability Lead to work closely with all event stakeholders.

We have introduced stricter food policies, including 100% vegan crew catering and requiring our traders only use compostable packaging. We’ve also partnered with our contractors to reduce energy use and increase recycling, installing HVO biofuel generators and boosting recycling rates to 47% across our events.

Additionally, artists have supported our 1% for the Planet initiative, which, together with our ticket levy, contributes £1.75 per ticket to help offset 100% of travel emissions through the on:board Earth festival industry offsetting scheme. This offsets our carbon footprint, including our audiences and contractors, with nature based solutions including ecosystem conservation, rainforest protection and tree planting.

If you would like to find out more about our efforts, please read our 2025 Sustainability Impact Report that can be found under the ‘Sustainability’ tab.

The Bridge Elevate

The Bridge Elevate

After a successful launch in 2024, we were thrilled to bring back our Shadowing Program for 18–25-year-olds from the local area.

Designed for those curious about what happens behind the scenes at a music festival, the program offers a unique, hands-on look into the live events industry. Participants spend a day alongside key members of the event team, whether during the festival build-up, break-down, or one of the main event days, gaining real insight and experience.

In 2025, we received over 34 applications, with many participants returning for work experience or paid roles in areas such as lighting, content creation, ticketing, information services, and box office support.

For details on the 2026 program, please check back here in April 2026.

Tickets For Residents

Tickets For Residents

As part of our commitment to the local community, we provide free ticket pairs to residents in the Boston Manor Park area. This initiative gives an opportunity for residents to experience the event firsthand.

Information on how to enter the 2026 ticket ballot will be available here in April 2026.
